Mindful Free Style Dance
Ezgilu was born in 1993 in Turkey and has been dancing since she was 13. She started dancing by herself by copying the moves from music videos and has followed her passion up until this day.
At the ripe age of 20, Ezgilu became an exchange student in France to study Business Administration, and it was at this time that she took the opportunity to study dance throughout Europe. Ezgilu took every chance she could to try different dance styles, such as hip hop, house, dancehall, afro, waacking, high heels and more, in different countries as the UK, Holland, France, Italy and Germany.
She then won a scholarship to attend the prestigious New York Broadway Dance Center and continued her studies there.
Ezgilu has worked with many celebrities as a back-up dancer. Following dance, Ezgilu became a yoga teacher as well and has since crossed the two disciplines together to create her own healing dance technique which she coined ‘’Mindful Freestyle,’’ inspired by dance therapy also.
In addition to Hip Hop and Mindful Freestyle, Ezgilu has also studied and performed contemporary dance while living in Seoul, South Korea and has worked with Sejong University Performing Arts for their Dance Theatre projects.
She has been competing, giving classes, performing and organizing events and participates in constant artist exchange programs all over the world.
