Presenter Bio:
Sachiho appeared in music scene in early 80’s as a leader and bass player of a herald of female rock band “ZELDA”. 12 albums were realesed by CBS Sony, Avex Trax, etc in 16 years.
She settled to Japanase southern island Okinawa with her partner Donto in 1995, and toured all around Japan as his accompanist.
In 2001 her partner Donto had suddenly left his body in Hawaii Island and his death lead her to the journey of quest for “soul” and “life and death” which is the essential work of her own life.
In 2001 she was blessed in Mt. Fuji with a method of sound-spirit meditation with lyre (harp developed by Steiner). Then she started meditation workshop which conducts meditative state by sound vibration and a harmonic overtone voice. It releases and purifies people’s heart and flowers their innate creativity . This effective method draws more and more people year by year.
In 2002 she was blessed with songs of goddess Tara in Tibetan temple in Hawaii. The songs were recorded in Hawaii and Fuji and released as a CD.
On New Year’s Day of 2004, blessed by Kannon (Avalokiteshwara), she recorded an album “Kannonraku” in Fuji and had firs meeting with her master of ancient Japanese Shintoism, Bigen Kobayashi in Katakamuna shrine in Kobe. She is contiuning her dedication of sound-spirit and music in many Shinto shrines, Buddhist temples and rituals. She works with sound and word spirit for evolution of human consciousness.
She organizes many festivals as a model of “heaven on earth”, e.g. Donto-in festival of all Japan, Hamaori festival in Okinawa.
She established a multipurpose shrine “ Donto-in Hakkaku doh” in Tamagusuku Okinawa as a memorial space of her ex-partner, Donto. This place keep developing as recording studio and space for meditation works in a beautiful nature of Okinawa.

Tara Boddhisatva
A workshop based on Tibetan Buddhism, a learning heart of Boddhisatva through song and dance.
The legend says that Tara appeared from tears of Avalokiteshwara,
embodies for every sentient beings by 21 forms such as love, abundance,
humor, wisdom, healing, compassion and anger, etc.
Participants learn respective role of each Tara, releasing themselves
with song and dance, establishing love, peace and compassion in each
one’s heart. Thus purifies body and mind. |
