I Wayan Marcus Wistika is Balinese and was born in Tabanan in 1972. His yogic journey started 12 years ago when he worked at a Yoga and Meditation retreat in his village in Tabanan. Wayan was in charge of all guest activities at the retreat. He met several yoga teachers at the retreat who inspired him to do more Yoga. Wayan taught at the retreat for about 3 years. In 2001 he was given the chance to join a rawfood yoga seminar with an American group for two weeks in the Northern part of Bali. From then on, he kept teaching. Wayan teaches in resorts throughout Bali and was certified by Yoga Alliance in 2006.
