Presenter Bio:
Duncan Wong, creator of the Yogic Arts system, an organic movement technology that synthesizes comprehensive powerful flow yoga, mixed martial arts stance structure, Thai bodywork therapy, and a refined approach to assisting and alignment; with the rhythm of modern dance and urban breakbeats. Duncan's ability to multi-assist the entirety of a pose, and his gift of clearly conveying the essential mechanics and the relationship between each pose and its intrinsically connected motion, which naturally refines our perception to a level of mastery within this Vinyasa flow of yoga, that in reality, is the best method of mirroring our own lifestyle and the purpose of our movement; awakening the insight necessary to realize our destiny, while guiding and protecting us on our sacred path.

Love Warrior Flow : Dynamic Power + Deep Poses - This is a practice
steeped in intelligence and inner strength, developed through 30 years
of integrated movement, and a plethora of insight and knowledge
imparted by Master Wong. This is a workshop designed for practitioners
who already have a basic understanding of warrior pose stance
structure, salutation flow, and some degree of prana-bandha (breathe
and squeeze) control. Emphasis will be placed on the dynamic
integration and core component of the warrior stance structure of the
Yogic Arts method, drawing from the multi-dimensions of yoga, martial
arts, dance and massage. |

Awaken Your Inner Warrior - Welcome to the Yogic Arts Experience; an
exploration into the nature of movement technology from a comprehensive
energetic perspective. Come prepared for a light practice, and an
overview of the internal dynamics, external mechanics, and applied
universal principles, resulting in a clear and concise presentation of
the organic movement technology of the Yogic Arts system. |

Gentle Slow Flow : Stance Structuring + Basic Mechanics - Is a gracious
approach to discovering the magic of alignment through motion; taught
through the basic stance structure of the poses we practice regularly,
and other interdisciplinary poses we may not, while discovering there
interconnectivity, as the fundamental principle of the Yogic Arts work.
Precise alignment will be gently emphasized, using a basic flow with a
repetitious format to allow our muscle memory awaken a deeper
remembering of our true nature as yogi(nis) to be the eternal guardians
of peace; protecting and nurturing all that is living, while evolving
our pure soul. |
