Workshop Descriptions:

1.

Iyengar yoga fundamentals
This workshop will mainly focus on the basic alignment of the body in standing poses (asanas) from the ground up. Once learned and practiced, those fundamentals can be used in all other types of asanas.

2.

Containment with Iyengar Yoga
Our bodies loose a lot of energy-and can be injured- when not contained in certain areas. This workshop aim to  teach you how to contain specific parts of your body so that integrity is achieved. As a result you will find more depth in your asanas, energy in your body and focus in your mind.

3.

Iyengar yoga: The shoulder blades and chest opening
The Iyengar method of yoga pays a great deal of attention to the position of the shoulder blades in all asanas. In this workshop we will look at how we can access them, draw them down and pin them into our rib cage for better chest opening in standing and sitting asanas.
